Working in the tattoo industry across Canada for nearly two decades has given owner and artist, Artie Ostrowski, a unique perspective to create a private studio that is professional, clean, and relaxing—setting it distinctly apart from traditional street tattoo shops.
Since opening in 2015, Artie has made it a priority to ensure that every experience in his studio is a comfortable, positive, and memorable one.

SO WHY IS IT A PRIVATE STUDIO?
I’ve worked in various shops over the many years that I’ve been tattooing. From my personal experience, I concluded that clients enjoy a personal one-on-one experience far more than getting tattooed in an overstimulating public environment.
PRIVACY
Not everyone is comfortable getting tattooed while being exposed in a wide-open space with crowds around. By keeping it appointment-based, we eliminate interruptions from public walk-in traffic, creating a peaceful space where clients feel calm and safe.
ATMOSPHERE
Traditional shops often have loud music, multiple buzzing coil machines, and constant chatter. At Mystic Rabbit, music is kept at an enjoyable level and quiet rotary machines are used. Many clients find it so relaxed that they even fall asleep.
CLEANLINESS
A private studio gives total control over sanitation. Before each appointment the studio is cleaned and floors mopped. After every appointment, all surfaces, instruments, and restrooms are completely disinfected well beyond health code standards.
PERSONAL ATTENTION
Rather than juggling multiple clients throughout a day, I only tattoo one client per day. Your entire appointment day is devoted solely to you and your artwork, keeping creative focus sharp and unhurried.
